Killer Ring
/ Reaktör
1986
Screenshots: « play/stop »
Scenario
The idea behind the game is to shoot anything that moves, this does not include
family pets (except poodles). If it moves, shoot it, if it doesn't, shoot it anyway.
If by some freak chance you should reach the spaceman, then blow out his heart
for some extra bonus points. Each time you play difficulty increases. (Providing
you don't turn it off.)
Controls
Use Joystick for up/down/left/right and fire. Use F1 to toggle between music and
sound effects. Use F3 to toggle between easy and hard level (In hard level you
must blast a hole through the Anti-matter beam before your next shot can penetrate).
Use F5 to re-define the keyboard.

K-Ring Cupcakes
And now something for people who like long inlay cards – K-Ring Cupcakes!
1/3 cup shortening
2 cups sifted cake flour
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
1 unbeaten egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
Oven 375 degrees
Stir shortening just to soften. Sift in dry ingredients. Add 1/2 the milk and
the egg; mix until all flour is dampened. Then beat vigorously two minutes. Add
remaining milk and vanilla; beat one minute longer.
Fill paper-lined cupcake pans 1/2 full. Bake in moderate oven (375 degrees) 25
to 30 minutes. Makes 18 to 20 cupcakes.
High-altitude changes
If you happen to live in a high-altitude region (3,000 feet above the sea level
and up), you may find that many cakes will tend to fall and give unpredictable
results. But here is a general guide you may follow to make adjustments in the
baking powder, liquid, and sugar proportions.
3,000 ft.
Liquid (add for each cup): 1-2 tablespoons
Baking powder (decrease for each teaspoon): 1/8 teaspoon
Sugar (decrease for each cup): no change
5,000 ft.
Liquid (add for each cup): 2-3 tablespoons
Baking powder (decrease for each teaspoon): 1/8-1/4 teaspoon
Sugar (decrease for each cup): usually no change
7,000 ft.
Liquid (add for each cup): 3-4 tablespoons
Baking powder (decrease for each teaspoon): 1/4-1/2 teaspoon
Sugar (decrease for each cup): 1-2 tablespoons
These are not hard and fast rules. Since each recipe is different in its proportion
of ingredients and richness, you may have to experiment a few times with each
recipe to discover the best proportions.
