Dropzone: This was about the fourth pic I did, and probably the last one I did with a joystick, before buying a pad. Characteristically of a joystick, the random pixel shading attempted in the background landscape, can be seen to form lines and 90 degree corners. The pic was done while still at college (sketch) and was done for the intro of a cracked and trained Dropzone by Chris Owen of the BCS. Dropzone, Paradroid and particularly Uridium were his fave games. The pic itself was an attempt (like Uridium) to capture the objective spirit of the game as a still.
